What is Sophora Flower Bud Extract?
Sophora flower bud extract also known as rutoside, quercetin-3-O rutinoside, and sophora, is a glycoside between the flavonol quercetin and disaccharide rutinose, is a common citrus bioflavonoid, extracted from the dried buds of sophora japonica L. It's a dull yellow or yellow-green vitreous powder that becomes plastic when heated from 185°C to 192°C and destabilizes at 215°C.
